YOU ARE HERE

Perhaps it is a bit of silly verse learnt years ago at school? Or perhaps we were attracted to the idea of a carefree wandering lonely as a cloud? Perhaps it was lines that summed up waking feelings toward another, or emotions of a moment when our dream deferred? Whatever the reason, most of us can recall a poem or two, or at least a few lines that have stuck within the memory. In that vein, this is a collection of poems that have, for one reason or another, stayed within me.

'Cool Dragon'

Some of these pieces you will undoubtedly recognize, but hopefully there will be others which bring you a new experience. I have tried to organize this area into broad categories, but with poems - as with the many things in life poetry reflects, that is not always possible. Words about death may also be a poem of love, as a verse of love may also be a picture of nature, whilst other pieces are simply wise words in a category all of their own. So, long or short, dark or light, in here you will find one poem may be listed in two categories, but some only appear on the master list. Whichever, through your exploration of these pages, I hope you will find something of value to you.
